Kids Need Kiwanis

At the Kiwanis Club of North Las Vegas, we believe strong communities start with strong kids and caring neighbors. Through service, mentorship, and partnerships, we roll up our sleeves and make a real difference right here at home.

Supporting Military Families — Fisher House

Twice each year, our members prepare and serve warm, home-cooked meals for military families staying at Fisher House while their loved ones receive treatment at the North Las Vegas VA Hospital. It’s our way of saying thank you and offering comfort during difficult times.

Supporting Local Kids & Families — James Boys & Girls Clubhouse

Our partnership with the James Boys & Girls Clubhouse is one of the most hands-on and heartwarming ways we serve our community.

You’ll often find our members:

• Twisting balloons and bringing smiles at special events
• Cooking and serving meals for kids and families
• Adopting a family each Christmas to make the holidays brighter

This partnership lets us show up consistently for local youth — creating fun moments, providing support, and helping families feel seen, supported, and celebrated all year long.

Partnering with the North Las Vegas Police Department

For more than 15 years, you’ve probably seen our balloon artists at National Night Out! We love bringing smiles to families and supporting community safety events.

Serving Those Who Serve — USO Nevada

From assembling baby baskets and hygiene kits to stuffing holiday stockings, we proudly support service members and their families through our ongoing partnership with USO Nevada.

Fighting Hunger with the Salvation Army

Every year, our members ring the bell to support the Salvation Army’s holiday campaign. We also help raise funds for the Rotary–Kiwanis Salvation Army Food Drive, helping local families put food on the table when they need it most.

Mentoring Tomorrow’s Leaders — Key Clubs

We proudly sponsor and mentor Key Clubs across North Las Vegas. Our members support service projects, guide meetings, and help students grow as leaders and community volunteers.
